Folding paper cranes. Learn a generations old artform of Japanese Origami. Make them as a keepsake for yourself or as a gift for a friend.
Long Description:
Learn a generations old artform of origami. Papers & supplies hand selected in Japan.
A child accompanied by an adult may participate, but only if the guardian remains at the event to assist them. If parent and child will be using more than 4 pieces of paper, then an additional ticket purchase will be required for the adult.
We will not have enough helpers to do your child's craft for them or give individual intensive instruction to a child. Disruptive attendees mat be asked to leave.
Your host: Dancing Whimsy-steria has been training in Kyoto, Japan with professional Nihon Buyo fan dance masters, as well as learning other traditional Japanese arts.
Many arts are dying out, it is my goal to learn multiple artforms and teach them to others, in hopes that our society will protect the longevity of these crafts & dances.
We would be honored by your attendance.
