Return to the underground labyrinths of Descent: Journeys in the Dark with a host of new challenges! The Well of Darkness expansion includes over 30 new plastic miniatures, featuring 6 new heroes, tricky kobolds, bloodsucking ferrox, and unstoppable golems.
The heroes gain access to more skills and treasures, including 6 relics and a new type of potion. They'll need everything they can get, however, since the Overlord gains the ability to customize his deck of cards before each game. This allows him access to improved spawn cards, nasty new events and powers, and even deadlier traps such as rolling boulders, poisoned darts, and scything blades.
Descent: The Well of Darkness introduces rules for lava and mud, as well as two new lingering effects - bleeding and dazed. This expansion also features 9 new quests for the heroes to face. They can battle their way through a trap-infested kobold warren, race through a collapsing mine, or take relics in hand and attempt to seal the Well of Darkness itself! With Descent: The Well of Darkness, players have everything they need to take their Descent games to the next level.
