1942. The Battle of the Atlantic rages. Twenty hours after the Liberty Ship Bell Island begins its first trip to England carrying vital war supplies, all contact is lost. A few crewmen awaken to find that most of the crew has vanished, and all signs of the convoy the ship was traveling are gone as well. Soon afterward, strange happenings begin plaguing the ship. Reality itself starts breaking down as the ship drifts in the open Atlantic.
The second World War is rapidly approaching its end. However, a top-secret Nazi weapons program is still hoping to develop a new super-weapon to assure victory for the Third Reich. A group of political prisoners are being transported to this base to test this new weapon. Upon arrival, the base appears eerily deserted. And an approaching snowstorm leaves the prisoners with no alternative but to enter the snow-covered laboratory.
