The TARDIS has many alarm systems: one for incoming danger, one for when the door is improperly latched, one for passenger overboard. The one currently going off is one you never thought you'd hear, the one that only sounds if the pilot has died and failed to regenerate. The TARDIS is due to materialize on the deck of a freight transport in three hours time, and the Doctor's enemies and friends are gathering to be ready when it does. Some to gloat, some to help, and some just to figure out what happened.
