In a continuation of last year’s panel, join a moderated discussion with Gen Con staff members and DEI Advisory Committee members Tanya DePass & Aaron Trammell as we discuss diversity, equity, and inclusion at Gen Con. Includes a 2022 update to the community on the work Gen Con has undertaken, outlining our goals for fostering a more diverse and inclusive Gen Con, and discuss ways in which you can become involved. Questions can be submitted in advance using the form sent in the message to registered players, or during the Q&A session of the presentation.

Earlier during Gen Con, Satine Phoenix DM’d a 5e RPG where Jamison Stone (theredopera.com, thebardbook.com), John Iadarola (The Young Turks) and others attempted to reverse a curse, penned in revenge by the mad demonic-vampire lich, Mord Albtraum! In the 3 days since this game, Actoroke screenwriter, Steve Conard, has adapted the story created in this RPG to a screenplay, and Peter Adkison has cast 8 actors to perform the 4 PC and 4 NPC roles in the story. Come watch Peter direct these actors in performing this screenplay in an Actoroke-style production. Watch behind-the-scenes directors and actors collaborating to create performance for film, and all based an a story created by RPG’ers. That is the magic of Actoroke! After Gen Con, the video from those performances will be edited together to create a “movie” that will be streamed on Gen Con TV a couple of weeks later.

This live game is the RPG portion of an "Actoroke" Production, a new storytelling concept developed by Peter Adkison. After this event, we will write a screenplay adaptation of this adventure and a cast of actors will perform the screenplay live, also on the Gen Con streaming stage, Sunday from 2pm-4pm, directed by Peter Adkison.
