Thunderous footsteps echo down the alley way. All the blood, all that death, & what the hell was that strange gateway? It was supposed to be a game. Only a game.
Description:
You are all atttending your 10 year reunion after graduating from the estimable Arkham University. You have gathered at the home of a long time friend after the reunion. You are all sanguine about the evening, bearing memories of times now past. Your host suggests playing a game he found at a garage sale, and all are in favor. When they bring out the case you all get a feeling from it, as though it were ancient and also the newest thing you had ever seen. The rules are printed on the bottom of the box. It seems that you must find clues, recruit friends, obtain weapons, and defeat monsters so that you can close the Gates! What fun! When the case is open you are amazed to see caricatures of yourself already set up on the board. How odd...
You're just a hard bitten cop, until you win a week long cruise around the Gulf of Mexico! Why are there so many other police though? Maybe you won't be catching up on your reading.
