The largest drug bust in the region's history has crippled the power of the previous cartel, and those who are left standing race against each other to become the next drug kingpin. Herbs, powder, or crystal, there's money to be made, and with it, comes power. To what lengths will you go and over whom will you step to get your piece of that pie? Will you set yourself atop the city's hierarchy? Or will you use the chaos to settle old scores or advance some other agenda? Albuquerque is on a precipice; Survival will require climbing to the heights of power or wallowing in the depths of depravity. You'll either rise over the corpses of fallen enemies and allies alike, or someone else will rise over yours!

People who came to this city years ago, looking for hope, turn their tarnished deadbolts at night to keep out the howling beasts and the hungry-eyed humans. And there you are, stuck in between, a beast of the night and a hungry human all at once. In a place where the other monsters are pushing in all the time, and you have to bare your fangs just to keep what's yours - but each time you do, you come one step closer to being just like them - what do you choose to be? What do you become? Urban fantasy in the vein of The Dresden Files & Angel.

Using the strong narrative and character-focused engine of the apocalypse, players will play dynamic protagonists who struggle to fight back the darkness while fighting the demons within themselves. This event is the first of three connected sessions (LongCon) with continuing characters and plots. Registering for the first session covers all three.
