Star Wars: Armada North American Championship Graduated Cut
Summary:
The graduated cut of the championship preliminaries continues with 2 additional Swiss rounds.
Description:
The tournament will consist of two Swiss-paired rounds made up of the Top 8 players of each Flight and up to 6 additional players that tie with the 8th placer. Any additional ties will be broken by strength-of-schedule. This will create a tournament of between 16 and 24 players.
The Top 2 placers will proceed to a final table immediately following the end of the preceding two rounds.
Any ties for 2nd place will be broken by strength-of-schedule and extended strength-of-schedule, as necessary.

Description:
Tournament registration closes at 11:45am on Thursday, August 4. Round One of the Swiss Pairing will begin promptly at 12:00pm. Players that compete in Flight One cannot compete in Flight Two. Each player must bring a 400 point fleet (including no more than 134 points of squadrons) to compete and have two copies of their fleet list (written or printed) ready to be inspected by our TOs for tournament legality. In addition to figures, players are required to bring support materials including: command and speed dials, tokens, dice, obstacles, rulers and templates, etc. The times listed for this event include only the preliminary rounds. If you advance to the graduated cut, be prepared to return on Saturday, August 6, for additional tournament rounds. The first round of the graduated cut will begin promptly at 11:00am.
