The PCs are still on the cursed island but they are one step closer to finding out why it is such a dangerous place and have another opportunity to escape their fate.
Lord Kiparba has a problem – while trying to expand the storage areas beneath his manor house, workers opened a passage into a cave complex from which undead emerged. He needs mercenaries to explore the caves and either put an end to the undead menace or prove he must seal up the tunnels for all time.
Buried beneath the lands held by Lord Kiparba lies an ancient temple dedicated to the Creator of Strife. An earthquake and a marauding band of goblins unleashed the horrors held within, awakening undead guardians.
Upon hearing of the empty crypt, Lord Kiparba demands that the PCs investigate further, for he feels it must have held a great treasure which must reside inside.
