You were told to go to a magnificent City, you find yourself in a desolate town. With no money, you're forced to once again look for menial jobs to cover your living expenses.
Description:
On the Continent of Asheau, lying within the kingdom of Vance, you find yourself broke and washed up. At one time you were the finest adventurers in the land, fearing nothing and beating down anything in your path. You were unstoppable. Looking for your next piece of work, you came upon an old sage. An elderly woman barely standing, she told you to travel to the City of Seah. Untold riches and a quest that would make you heroes among men lie in wait for you. Whatever your reason, gold, fame, power, the need to help others, you find yourself in somewhat of a desolate town. The sage promised untold riches, and you find yourself in a place you can hardly call a settlement. You spent the majority of your money getting here, and now you find yourself without work. The only thing you can hope to do is visit the local tavern in hopes that someone needs work to be done.

As a well known adventuring group across the land you’ve faced your share of adventures. However you’ve never heard of deformed animals stalking a far aware village. Even though the threat sounds unworthy, an old friend convinces you to solve the problem anyway. You’ve made a month’s worth of travel in almost 3 weeks. You hope the exhaustion you’ve all suffered is worth it. Just nearing the edge of the town you can see an unfriendly looking castle standing guard beside the town. Even stranger you see dark shadows seemingly from the castle traveling toward you. They seem to have some humanoid shape about them, but you don’t take chances and start preparing your swords. It seems you will not be waiting long before your weapons are in use.
