In the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, there is only war… and ponies. Luna Watch serves the God Empress Luna. They are the front line defense of the Imperium of Mane against the galaxy's threats. They are blessed with gifts from the dark age of technology. Their bodies and cutie marks have been genetically altered to make them the ultimate soldiers. Their comrades in arms are legion: the Equine Guard, countless planetary defense forces, & tech priests of the Equestus Mechanequus to name but a few. Yet for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever present threat from xeno, chaos, mutants, and worse. Chaos cultists found intelligence about the mysterious 2nd Herd whose records, including the name of the Primare, were expunged from Imperium history for unknown reasons. If these cultists gain a Herd's power, it could spell doom for all ponykind.
