It takes more than the end of the world to stop people from taking advantage of each other. The New California Republic is the most civilized nation in the radioactive remnants of the United States of America. In the heart of the NCR corruption reigns; Deathclaws may sound scary, but Big Tony sending some boys to break your knees is a real threat in the Core. Authority belongs to whoever has the most caps.
Every player will take on the roll of a pre-made character and solve a mystery in a city where good and bad are all just shades of gray. This is not a game where players can expect a lot of combat. Instead this game will have more of a focus on roll playing and using your brain to find solutions, as too many bullets flying means everybody will catch some lead.
I will provide pre-made characters to choose from, but you can email me if you have a character in mind.
There's a Hunt on in Chicago when people are being murdered in mysterious ways: full-body trauma, ruptured internal organs, spontaneous human combustion... what could be behind it all?
Description:
This is an adventure in the setting of the Supernatural television show, with the Players playing pre-generated Hunters other than Dean & Sam Winchester (there are some canonical characters available, such as Bobby Singer & Jo Harvelle.) Although combat with the Monster of the Week is likely to happen at the end of the adventure, the adventure itself is primarily a mystery: if the Hunters do their jobs right and figure out what they're up against, they should be able to set a suitable trap for it and defeat the creature without much risk. Of course, things aren't always what they seem, and Hunter luck tends to Suck Out Loud...

Although this scenario opens in medias res with an action scene and combat with the Monster of the Week is likely to happen at the end of the adventure, the adventure itself is primarily a mystery: the rug is going to get pulled out from under the characters' feet, and they'll have to figure out the twist to the situation they find themselves in. Not to mention Hunter luck tends to Suck Out Loud...
