Rumbling down roads known only by thier letter, the battle group made it's way south past ruined mansions and glassless high-rises. The wan yellow sun gleamed off the green and gold markings. The lake, steaming in the November cold, was mirror flat, reflecting the sillouettes of APCs, tanks, GEVS and the masssive cybertank: an Ogre.
They maneuvered around the City center and headed through a swath of flattened factories and houses. The enemy was in sight, blue and gold markings with a cryptic GSH on their cockpits. They had an Ogre too.
They met at Northerly Island.
It was time, the crowd was assembled, perched on the rooftops, in the old stadium, or snug at home watching on the vid. The mayors met and shook hands and laid the traditional bet. The coin was flipped, and the 24th annual battle exhibition between the 141st Green Bay and the 77th Chicago Divisions was on. The Packers had won last year and the Bears were looking for revenge.
This is a fun Ogre Miniatures scenario, open to anyone that wants to play. Being a rabid Pack or Bears fan is optional but will be more fun.
