Description:
Red Rum is a comedic Pirate band traveling the land-locked Mid-West in search of merriment at local Renfaires, Festivals, Bars and Conventions. The crew have been known to cause spontaneous bouts of toe tapping and clapping to Classic Sea Shanties, Pub songs (Irish and Celtic), Pirate songs, traditional sailors tunes and Renaissance music. We play both traditional and original songs along with parodies and our very own style of nautical comedy. Voted "Most Creative Band" at Indy 500 Mini Marathon Course Entertainment 2014. Come interact with some of your favorite board game media personalities while they compete in a series of board game events! Who will become Master of the Games? You decide!
Description:
And so the battle lines have been drawn, the network captains have picked their troops, the scene of combat, right here in a Gen Con event room... Inspired by Battle of the Network Stars, Battle of the Board Game Networks pits personality against personality in a series of board game events. From pitching products to drawing poorly, media people will try to win it all to become Master of the Games! An event might include a game of Snake Oil where the audience determines which team pitched the better product. Another might involve throwing dice as panelists try to build giant Kaboom! towers. One thing is for certain, panelists will need to bring their A-game (and maybe a giveaway item or two) if they plan on winning over the audience. In addition, there will be several opportunities for Q&A where teams will take the time to interact directly with the audience and answer questions.
Be a background artist in one the scenes of our satirical webseries, Game Knights, a half-animated comedic show about gamers & gaming life that has screened at the Gen Con Film Fest for 3 years.
